Strategic Support to Boost UK's Share of the Subsea Sector

The global market is expected to double to £40billion over the next five years and if the UK wants to ensure its share also doubles there are challenges ahead.
These include maintaining and attracting the talent to remain in pole position and ensuring companies want to carry out the vital research and development in the UK rather than elsewhere.

“We have had both the Scottish and the UK governments looking at strategies to support and nurture the oil and gas industries which is a fantastic step,” said Gordon.
